1. While I was yet dead in my sins & trespasses, Jesus loved me . . . even before I loved Him!
2. Jesus, knowing every sin I have ever committed, mercifully pleaded to the Father, on my behalf, to pardon me.
3. With all of my many sins of commission and omission, Jesus willing died for me, an ungodly person . . .  He bled and died to take away my sins!
4. Jesus bore ALL, not part, of my sins on His cross . . . they were paid in full!
5. I am wondrously amazed that Jesus would seek out a drunken rodeo cowboy on July 4th, 1992, a hot muggy night in Love Valley, NC, at the rodeo. My plans were to get drunk after the rodeo . . . yet the Lord had other plans for me . . . He almost killed me (via a buckin’ bronco) in the rodeo arena, then He totally saved me in the same rodeo arena. . . all in the same night . . . no altar call, no invitation music . . .  no cheap-jack evangelist begging me to close my eyes and say the ’sinner’s prayer’ . . .  just Jesus’ call for this drunken rodeo cowboy to come unto Him!  . . . What a Savior!!
